I took a native plant landscaping class at Theodore Payne Foundation and this book really helped me select the right plant for the right place in my design....it's my go -to book for native planting!

I recently purchased this book and love the attention to native plant details!

It  describes each CA native plant; how to successfully grow  them in your landscape, and the companion plants that help support them.

My family spent hours during the stay-at-home quarantine,  sitting in our backyard identifying

our native bees using

this book!

It also gives you  suggestions on what flowers to  plant in your garden for improve

pollination.

I like to include both native and non natives for seasonal color and  help provide

plants for my hummers and butterflies and this book does it all!
